The Fall Quarter Foundation Scholarships are now available. Please encourage students to apply by completing the attached application, picking up an application from the Financial Aid Office or completing the application online at www.rtc.edu/foundation. Students should return completed applications to the Financial Aid Office. The deadline to return completed applications to the Financial Aid off for Fall Quarter Scholarships is July 23, 2010.

Please note that many of the scholarships are merit based and the Foundation is encouraging students to provide complete applications that demonstrate academic success & a positive impact on their trade or the community.

During our Career Impact 2010 and Beyond event which is coming up next week, students will have an opportunity to participate in mock interviews.  We have four individuals who will be conducting mock interviews and giving the students feedback.  Students may contact us at careerimpact2010@gmail.com to book a time slot.  When we hear from students, a confirmation email will come directly to the student/s confirming the time, place and interviewer.  We are booking students on a first come, first serve basis.

Once the student is confirmed, a message will also come to the student informing him/her to dress for an interview, bring a resume and cover letter, and a job description so the interviewer can conduct an interview which relates to that specific job.

We encourage your students to participate in not only the mock interviews, but also the career events taking place in the Roberts Campus Center, Building I, West Wing of the Cafeteria, from 9-noon.  Resume critique will take place in the West Wing of the Cafeteria and no appointments are necessary for that.  Feel free to download the attached Career Impact flyer to share with colleagues and students.  See below for interview time slots.
